Snow days

we follow the Lake Oswego School District snow schedule. In addition to using the district's school closure webpage, you may also listen to the TV or radio for school closures. Additional information is available from the school district's Twitter feed.

Morning Drop off

Please make sure to sign your child in upon arrival. The sign in sheet will be at the classroom entrance/exit.

It would be helpful to be in the classroom by 9:00am, as late arrivals and disruptions are hard on the classroom. Tardiness disrupts the classroom activities. In the beginning, it is advantageous to the child to actually spend time helping your child adjust to the new environment. Sit back and let your child mix in and feel a part of the room. After a few times, hand them over to one of the staff members and tell them you will be back after a few hours. Please make the turnover brief. A brief turnover is better for your child.

Afternoon Pick up

Please make sure to sign your child out upon departure. The sign out sheet will be at the classroom entrance/exit.

Pick-up of children (not in extended care) will generally be through the child's classroom. If someone other than a person listed on the enrollment form picks up your child, the school requires written permission from the parent. Also, your signature must match the signature on file, and proper ID will be required. The school may also call to verify that you actually gave authorization.

Note: Both parents are requested to sign this form. (single parents excluded)

Conferences

Conferences are arranged with all parents mid-term. Additional conferences with the teacher may be requested at any time. Please arrange additional conferences any time.
